Knowledge Panel in the ElevaRank plugin
A Knowledge Panel is the information box Google shows for a recognized business — name, logo, opening hours, services, reviews. ElevaRank helps you get one by publishing the structured data Google reads, from the business information you enter once.
What a Knowledge Panel is
When Google is confident about a business, it builds a Knowledge Panel from structured data on the web. For local businesses that usually means Organization or LocalBusiness markup, combined with a matching Google Business Profile. ElevaRank publishes that markup for you — no code, no theme edits.
Fill in your business info
- Open ElevaRank → Knowledge Panel.
- Enter your business name, logo, description, phone, address, opening hours — use the exact same details as your Google Business Profile.
- List your services and the areas served (country, state, city or "local service" areas).
- Add 3+ social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn…) — these become sameAs links that help Google verify your brand.
- Keep the schema Enabled and save.
The readiness checklist
ElevaRank checks your panel before Google ever sees it: business name, square logo (112×112px or larger), description, phone, address, opening hours, services and social profiles. Green = done, so you can close the gaps before submitting anywhere.
Where it's published
The Organization / LocalBusiness JSON-LD is output on your homepage. JSON-LD is the format Google recommends, and ElevaRank escapes it safely so no value can break the script.
Verify your schema
Run your homepage through Google's Rich Results Test — you should see Organization / LocalBusiness detected. You can also preview the exact markup ElevaRank generates right on the Knowledge Panel page (pretty JSON preview), and there's a live preview for the panel itself.
Tips that help
- Use your exact consistent business name everywhere — the panel is more likely to be shown.
- Publish your opening hours; it helps you appear for "open now" searches.
- Include services in plain words people search, not internal terms.
- Add the same links on your Google Business Profile for consistency.
I'm having issues
Make sure the schema toggle is on under ElevaRank → Knowledge Panel and that you passed the checklist. Google also needs to trust a new site, so a panel can take days or weeks — but the markup is ready the moment you save. Need help? Ask the WordPress.org support forum or email hello@elevarank.com.
